Problem with item - no communication

On 5th April I bought a replacement screen for my daughter's phone. It duly arrived and I replaced the screen. However, it does not work. I have reconnected everything, it SHOULD work.

I don't know what to do - the listing has been removed, although the seller is still selling. I have tried contacting them and receive no reply. Obviously I am running out of time, but I do not want to remove the screen and leave the LCD vulnerable to damage so do not wish to send it back. What I would really like is an answer from the seller, but I think I may have to raise a dispute to get one.

Any suggestions as to what I should do?

The seller has good feedback, no-one else seems to have trouble with the replacement screens.

You could request the sellers details form ebay and phone them. If not open a dispute as that may focus the mind.

The seller would be well within their rights to insist on a fully tracked return before refund in this case. personally as it is an item that could easily be damaged on instal I think most sellers would just ask for it back to protect themselves against a false claim.

You will probably have to open an SNAD. It's surprising how this focuses the seller.

A touch screen I assume? There are two main components which make a touch screen work. The top screen and the digitiser. The replacement screen may be fine.
Apologies if you know all this.
