Internet connection screens gone

The two little blue computer screens on the bottom right hand side of my PC have vanished overnight. I can still connect obviously but I just wondered where my my little screens went and how I can get them back. Many thanks.

Try going to show all connections, right click on the one you are using, and go to properties, there should be a tick in the show icon box.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Sorry but where do I find "show all connections"? Many thanks, your idea looks promising.

It's in Control Panel under Network Connections.
You should be able to right-click and select properties and make sure the "Show icon in notification area when connected" box is ticked.

Don't know if this will do the job, but when my icons disappear from the bottom right of my screen, I also use the route: R click on the bottom toolbar (an empty bit of it), click Properties on the menu which appears, click Notification Area tab, tick the Network box, click Apply, and that should do it.
  • Oh wow, that worked. Thanks!!!!
