Can I ask, did you do a cashback claim or a general enquiry?

I have 4 different transactions that have gone to £0.00 do I have to do an enquiry for each please?

I just did a general enquiry with the correct as forum post subject heading. and was sorted out quickly, i think you will have to wait till tomorrow now for a reply.

When will people stop !!!!!ing about the government and tutition fees. Blame the 75% of Unis which decided to goto the max value. The 9k was a limit they could charge the same 70mph is the limit you can drive on the Motorway. It doesn't mean you have to drive at 70mph, nor charge 9k

  • Have now been credited with my 50%, thank you TCB, very fair in my opinion!

All the ranting, I doubt Quidco would have even offered anything and then taken £5 off for this year as well.

for those who don't understand let me clear up Nick Clegg syndrome:

Nick Clegg: No one will vote for us. Lets sign a pledge to oppose tuition fees.
    Result: Get voted into government.
Action: Sorry can't deliver on my promise. Have a nice day.

TopCashBack: No one else will pay you but we will from our own pocket. We know we won't be getting the money from the merchants.
Result: Alot of people who used to use Quidco as their main cashback site changed to TopCashBack.
[for those who did switch I would appreciate you let us know]
Action: Sorry can't deliver on my promise. Have a nice day.

What they should have done is keep their word. I'm no politician but one thing about Margaret Thatcher was that you knew where you stood. "They lady is not for turning". Not any of this underhand deception.

    That's my opinion.

    Except the difference is:

Topcashback: If people are dissatisfied with the site, they are free to leave and switch their allegiance to another site. It's a free market and people can vote with their feet at any time of their choosing.

Nick Clegg: We're stuck with this miserable little compromise for another four years. It's a democracy and we can't usher in another set of broken promises until the next general election.

Also, no-one voted the coalition into government. Before the election, it was unthinkable for the Lib Dems to even consider forming a government with the Conservatives. So much for Nick Clegg's protests against governments without a mandate. ;)

I see you got yours sorted but for anyone else you only need to send one request which covers them all.

You need to put the correct heading in the Title which is AFFILIATE CHEIF RESOLUTION

This was a nice bonus to get as I had given up hope of ever getting the money on these, even if it is only 50% it is still much better than nothing and other sites have not paid on these, some people lost far more cashback when Rpoints went into liquidation it took all the members cashback with it.

TCB offer me £3.58, I asked for just £3. Maybe others of you can accept a lower offer just because it was free money in the first place and its decent of them to even offer 50%, where as other sites wouldn't offer anything.

Good idea, I accepted the full 50% but made a donation when I claimed the payment as they were so good & quick about dealing with it.
  • I haven't had the problem with a zero cashback on a free transaction - although I do have an enquiry open about one with QVC which has gone through at zero for some unknown reason.

Apart from that (which I am sure will be sorted), I have never had a problem with TCB. In fact I recommend them to everyone! Since I joined two years ago, I've earned £325, which I think is amazing.

I am really glad they replied to the original post though, because I did panic and worry that I might lose the £70 which is currently pending. Thanks TCB for clarifying.
