New small auto car wanted

I need a small automatic car for the school run. 5 door would be better than 3 but not essential. Good warranty would be nice too.

    i've had the following
    corsa; yaris; micra; jazz

get a full automatic - not a mmt (semi-automatic) . personally i believe there are still problems with that technology
(my yaris was an mmt with difficulties) and they drive more like a standard car

i lived my micra but the power steering went unfathomably early causing much grief

the corsa in its day was also lovely but the gas and brake were awfully close together which is why i didn't just get another one.
maybe they have solved this by now.

i love my jazz- in an old lady sort of way-good mileage. so far so good. but it did cost a bit more at the outset.

The Hyundai i10 is generally liked by motoring journalists - the auto is a proper torque converter and the kappa 1.2 engine is said to be very advanced and economical.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

Don't the later "auto" Jazz have a similar box to the MMT? I've been lately using a CVT Jazz (2007), although I don't particularly like the Jazz the CVT is much better than a MMT type.
My "regular" car is a MMT Yaris and I agree about the automated manual box, it's absolute pants. A proper automatic is preferable. Other makes might have theirs set up better than Toyota though.

The new Jazz is now available with a CVT automatic after complaints from loyal purchasers.

Thanks, I was partially correct then?:o
    So Honda have seen sense?!
I don't think the new Yaris, when it's released, has the MMT option. I notice their new Verso S has CVT offering and not MMT. Possibly Toyota have seen the error of their ways too?:p
