Anyone ever done the benefits check up on MSE?

Hi wondering if others have done the benefits check up on here and if it was correct?
I am starting to take my head out the sand and address our debts and financial situation, so decided to check we are getting all we are entitled to.
I dont work (away to apply for DLA), oh works f/t and earnings for 10/11 were £19500. We have 2 toddlers, rent from LA and have no other earnings etc.
So I added all of this to the check up and its come back saying we are entitled to zero tax credits, but a large amount of council and housing benefit? In fact it says with the amount of benefit we are "entitled" to our weekly rent and c/tax would be less than £20 combined!
Now Im not stupid enough to believe for one minute thats right, obviously the tax credits estimations way off, but surely so is the other benefits?
Has anyone else had a totally way off estimation from the checker?
Ideas, help and advice always welcome, judgements and assumptions are not!!

Yes sometimes its way off. You have to start again and check everything carefully.

What is the reason you cant get tax credits? That does not seem right. Do you have lots of savings or something?

I have just been on the phone to tax credits asking why I do not get the £108.29 that entitled to says I should get. The bloke was very helpful but still could not get an answer, when I pushed him he said that website must be wrong.

Anyone else have experience with this?

I am supposed to get £537.94 weekly total weekly but the truth is much less than that.

    My results are

    £108.29 CTC
    £105.95 JSA
    £290.00 LHA
    £33.70 CB.

    £537.94

But I am getting a fair bit less than £108.29 CTC. I have not had any overpayments or anything to pay back. It has been low for all last year as well. We have 2 kids and get the right amount of child ben so why not Tax credits?

I am going to try and get a back payment for the right amount.

Any one else have experience with this?
