Hi There- I have just been contacted by a claims company who have indicated that with the recent bank payment protection issues you can claim back outstanding balances and receive compensation due to raising credit limits without permission- they also want personal credit card details-not happy so refused but is this bona fide?

Probably not.
If I were you I'd probably sit tight for a while and wait to see what happens. The banks have thrown in the towel and given up the PPI fight, so, presumably, some sort of easy claim process will be introduced by them.0 -
