Just as a side note.
The jars are a perfect size for making jam because the top is so wide it is easy to put hot stuff in it without fear of burning yourself.
and they stack so much easier than round jars.
I made a batch of baked beans and found that one jar was a perfect amount for one person, or two as a side. Cost about 10p a jar!!
