    I'm looking at getting one. If I get one, I'll post before and (three month) after pictures of my kettle.
    So ... did you get one, and if so, how's your kettle 18 months later?

    And do we yet have evidence that these magnetic devices work?

    I ask because Maplin are offering them at £39.99.

    Agreed - but as it happens, these are the people I bought my water softener from and, so far, have had no complaints. It was very reasonably priced, delivered on time and does the job.

    However, such a posting is clearly contrary to forum rules and I too have reported it as spam.
