I have had a ongoing switch problem since November 2010, was contacted today after several complaints to head of complaints saying she had wiped my debt clear and my account is at £0.00 for both Gas and Electric :T

She initially set up payments scheme to pay every 2 weeks by card, i owed hundreds of pounds to them, but as a good will gesture for yet another mistake and another threat to send my debt to the debt collection agency LCS, has wiped the debt out.

Well, a great end to a 6 month long nightmare of trying to switch and hundreds of £££'s better off, debt free from Brit Gas.
Owed out = lots.

    thats great news for you.
sometimes its nice to see that a company admits staff failures when they do occasionally happen, the bonus was getting the slate wiped clean!
a nice fresh start for you, everyone deserves a chance and I think you got very lucky!

Make sure you get this in writing or have some form of evidence that your balance is now zero.

Wow, fantastic news! It's great when a company does something like this! Like moneyuser said, make sure you get it in writing though. I would probably frame it and put it on the wall or something! :D
