Here is our tree, spent ages doing it yesterday and OH said "Yeah its OK I suppose"

You cant see the lights though, they are little twinkly glow worm ones that make it look sparkly :D

Have loved looking at all your lovely trees and decs. I need to tidy up before going and getting ours but am unwell and can't bend down so it's really holding me back this year-looking at these has cheered me up though.
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!

That tree is gorgeous :T and you don't need anywhere to pack it away after xmas :D ...
Im suprised it didn't sell for more:confused:
Hi MrsMc - thank you! That's the price the school put it at. I thought it wouldn't sell, how wrong was I?! It's meant to be 20 layers but I only did 14 as I ran out of cookie dough and [STRIKE]couldn't be bothered[/STRIKE] was unable to make any more what with the short timescale. I'm making one for Christmas Sunday and I'll use white icing all over - much more grown up. Haven't "spoken" to you since I was last on the GC thread, hope you're well. I've noticed you're on the £4K challenge, roll on January, eh?! :T

We go to delamere forest for our tree, we always get it 2nd weekend in December, so it'll be next week when we go. I have never had a problem with them lasting until we take it down usually 3/4th jan.

We always cut 1-2" off the bottom water it regulary and dont put it near any radiators. I think it also depends on what type of tree you buy with regards to shredding.

We get the scots pine, i love them nice and full. Smell gorgeous too,

    Will see you there!

Hehe Getting my tree tomorrow cant wait :j
    Will post pics
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

Thank you! It's made with different sized star cookies, using cutters, I then put royal icing on, stacked them and put smarties on the ends. Lastly I dusted it in icing sugar for the "snow".

I got the cutters from here. This is the cheapest I've found them (normally around £11-£13)

Can anyone else see the polar bear face at the top of this (beautiful btw - my dd would love it!) tree? He/she has pink eyes, a big black nose and is wearing a party hat (the angel's skirt).

Lovely trees on here! After seeing them, I will so NOT be putting a piccy of mine up when it is done! :D
