I believe this weekend is the best time to buy them, I saw it on TV in christmas countdown type thing HTHTotal Debt at LBM - £19107.03Total now - £11091.220 -
Our local farm sell them every year and say that the earlier the better then cut off an inch and then store outside standing in a bucket of water until needed. Apparently the trees are cut at the same time and then delivered to the outlets as needed so the quicker you get it in water the better. Trees bought later have been cut as long but left without water. Moral of the story shop early we have been getting our tree from them for over 20 years and never a problem.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

I always buy my real tree on or around 7th December, and never have a problem with it shedding. I water it every few days, and turn off the radiator behind it.
Mind you, I never leave it up much past 2nd JanuaryYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
We go to delamere forest for our tree, we always get it 2nd weekend in December, so it'll be next week when we go. I have never had a problem with them lasting until we take it down usually 3/4th jan.
We always cut 1-2" off the bottom water it regulary and dont put it near any radiators. I think it also depends on what type of tree you buy with regards to shredding.
We get the scots pine, i love them nice and full. Smell gorgeous too,0 -
Here is my tree.
First at night straight after we put it up (Not very good quality)
In the daytime. These are only taken on my phone~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
