LHA savings

How much saving can you have and still get full LHA please?

Is it about £2500 each if you are a couple before it reduced the amount you can get?

I think it is £6000 before it starts to affect your entitlement, and anything above £16,000 means you don't qualify for help

    Thanks wow thats huge.

Can someone with £6K savings but low enough wages really still get their rent paid?

Not that many people with good jobs get to save that much.

I've never been lucky enough to have anywhere near £6k in savings so I don't know from personal experience, but that is seemingly what the rules state.

If they have low wages they may get some help towards their rent, it is unlikely they will get all their rent covered
