Well today I had a payment from the CSA in, and a paypal transfer.
I divide my incomings by 5 n-power will be treated the same!
1. is for cash or savings. I keep a £100 float and then I save the rest in my savings account. Just a small buffer, this isnt the emergency fund, that is treated as a debt.
2. goes to my spends lists. I list any spending on my credit cards, I settle all NEW spending on a month by month basis, and I eat into the old spending, so the balances are going down. I list all my spending and sometimes I trend it, when I am really nerdy...
3. "Getting ahead with the monthly bills" I still do this, and its the rent which is the pricey one, so I pay money off the rent (via a credit card might save a few pennies interest if it all hits right)
4. Snowballs. I make payments against the snowballs, chip chipping away at those nasty niggly ones.
5. Defaulted payments. Additional payments to these, so I can get rid, perhaps get a better rate credit card, balance transfer this side of retirement. This is done on a pro rate basis to the debt, I pay 90% to one and 10% to the other!
Madness but it keeps me going.
Thanks for asking.

Listed and sold a fair bit ebay, I have made 200 quid in the last month.
Had some upsetting news today, the husbands gran is not well, shes recently had an op and we were seeing her in hospital the other day. She is choosing to have her feeding tube removed, its upset me and the husband, he is having ten minutes on the computer, I am on the laptop. Not sure what to say, but shes made her mind up.
We love her, and want her happy. Its hard to accept things for other people which goes against what we want.
Visiting her again tomorrow.Trying to shift that debt!0 -

Thanks. She had adopted me. Shes so vibrant and full of life, but now at 88 just wants to be with grandad. She had to have a major op which saved her life, however the impacts of the operation would mean a change to her normally independant lifestyle.
She is just exercising her right to choose.
Paypal money in today, split and divvied. NO sign of N power, pah.
Tomorrow, tax credits, Friday is payday.
Something every day just incase N Power let me down.
Kinda looking forward to the phone call to them!Trying to shift that debt!0 -

Hi Skint,
Sounds all very busy at the mo. I'm sure I too suffer with the short days and darkness - the only resolution is to move down under with me.
Look forward to a synopsis of the telephone conversation from NPower!LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free
