Aiming for a No Spend Christmas 2012!0 -
Hi everyone!
Nice to know people are still alive. Today is more of the same, am listing ebay. Current sales stand at 198.97. i just need the clutter out, the money in and myself and DS are going to do a second decluttering sweep today, well, we are going to start.
I will ask DH to revist the cupbpoard under the stairs. This is quite an impressive beast of a cupboard, and it is rammed with stuff we dont seem to have used.
Additionally, I will say goodbye to a lovely pair of irregular choice, flik flak shoes. These are lovely, and are purple and bottle green. I was keeping hold of them for a friends wedding but they have scaled down and only invited us to the night do, disappointing.
As its a 60 mile round trip its one I wont be making. No matter, saves dress shopping.
corned beef hash was lovely. Myself and Dh are going to meal plan and make one super economy meal a week, (like egg and chips) four cheap ones (bolognese and mince and dumplings etc which will mostly be batchcooked) then have 2 like chicken dinner and tuna steaks with salad. In an attempt to save a little more in a five week month.
Quiet moneywise. I could be a euromilllionaire havent checked it !Trying to shift that debt!0 -

You will be e-bay's favourite customer. That's brilliant what you are earning from it. I've probs earnt about £1k over the years but the kids sell their own stuff now and keep the money themselves
. Never mind, I got away with it for a while. Plus I have been so skint the last few years that I haven't been buying anywhere near as much as before so I have very little to sell. I remember the time when I couldn't get DS's wardrobe shut and counted 27 pairs of trouser in them. That wasn't includng shorts . No wonder I'm in debt :rotfl:
5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
I know its all clutter to be honest, and I cannot bear it. we shall be living minimally. I hope!
Need to get more listed tomorrow!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
The massive amount of child tax credits we get (jk) has been divvied up and the princely sum of £3.08 sent to amex.
Current ebay sales are sitting at a healthy 206 and I sold a 99p item last night too. The bulk of my listings end on a sunday, but I have two relisted items ending every day.
payday tomorrow, the day has been moved. On the 24th I make my last payment to HMRC, another debt will be gone and another £104 a month freed up to go elsewhere. Will be back to update my signature with that!
Think I might increase one of my loan payments by a further £25 out of that, my husband has the same loan and Ive overpaid mine, and it seems the overpayment means I have much less to pay, for every ten pounds overpaid it reduces the balance by 20.
So I think I will divvy it up and put the bulk to the most expensive debt and the rest to amex and that loan overpayment.
Feeling positive!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Looks like you are having a great day Skint !
I am looking forward to crossing HMRC off of my list, I am hoping it will be gone by May if I have my way and people remember to pay us !! :rotfl:
Well done on the ebaying, I have taken the photos but then ground to a standstill, maybe I will email the photos to you and you can turbolist for me !! :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
