Anyone know if or where I can get cheap ink for this model please? Most of the places I've tried don't seem to list it.

I'd guess this is a fairly recent model, so not many copies yet available. 7dayshop sell compatibles at under £5 shipped, or sets of 4 for less than £20 in the higher capacity size.

Looks like you might have to wait a while yet for prices to drop to the more typical £2 or so for non-originals...

Another option, haven't used them but these cartridges have 19ml of ink, whereas a lot of compatibles have 13ml

you can get fake ones for a few pound per cartridge but they void your warranty and I have been told that the quality is not as good. If you want the originals, you can buy the multi pack from CCL computers for £27.77. you can find them by going on cclonline.com and then typing in T1284 into the search box

I was after an sx100 or sx200 but tesco dont seem to seel them anymore (have a 7 quid off 50 till spit and a 20 quid DTD voucher)

I'm not fussed about stellar quality, its only for printing vouchers and stuff mainly.

You can also get a genuine multipack from Rapid Resolutions for £27.46 with free p&p.

Arghhhhh, went to buy it last night and its back to £119 again. Seems I'm destined not to own a printer.

Thanks snakey but its 20 quid for replacement inks so will give that a miss, but I appreciate your logic.

I had one of the £50 gift cards from additions and they have the 425w for £59 but its out of stock.

If I'm not going to use tesco DTD vouchers or the additions card then I guess its comet (I think) for an sx200 for which complete sets of ink are available delivered for under 3 quid!!!
