Latest resolution - buy it now

I was asked how much i want for the item, and he offered me £50 so i said yes, revised my item, and put buy it now on -
So someone bought it (not the person who asked me to sell for £50), and did not pay - i had no idea i had to check any boxes requesting immediate payment with buy it now, what else can i do about this?
I have opened a dispute already saying i am not selling as i needed immediate payment, and buy it now means exactly that not buy in a few days.
Ebay starting to get on my nerves.

How long ago did they buy it? Unless you tick for immediate payment on BIN then they have the 4 days before you can open a not paid dispute.0

Can i close my resolution case now today, and go for buyer not paid in 2 days time?
It was sold last night. Judging by the buyer i very much doubt i will see any payment.Owed out = lots. :cool:0 -

You can't even open an NPB until day 4, but if you have opened something then you must have opted for a mutual and need the buyer to respond and confirm they don't want the item.
I think you need to step back a little from ebay and get a bit more basic understanding of the process as you are likely to be losing money the way you are going.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I opted for the "buyer did not pay" thing as my reason, it has 3 days remaining and they still haven't responded.
I don't think i should step away i think forums like this are good for advice.Owed out = lots. :cool:0 -

Since it CANNOT be a full NPB it must be a mutual which means you now have to wait either for buyer to agree, or for the mutual to expire (in your favour) after 10 days. So instead of waiting for the buyer to pay and then opening an nPB and closing it on an 8 day time frame, you now must wait until day 10 for the mutual to close.
If you close it now you lose your FVFs and at any point within those 10 days you cannot risk relisting it as buyer may well pay.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. OK cheers i will wait, i wish i never listed it now

If you've opened a mutual that seems likely, unless the buyer really wants it, then the chances are he will ignore you until the 10th day & then either pay, or refuse the mutual, which will then leave you owing the FVF's. Although the 4 days things is a little confusing, are you sure it says that you can close in 4 days or open? Maybe you tried opening a NPB & ebay said that you had to wait for the 4 days.
You can't open a NPB strike after going for a mutual, and the buyer will be able to leave you neg feedback.
As soolin suggested maybe you should read up some more on ebay, as you could end up quite quickly be one of the low performing sellers & have your account limited.0 -
You seem to have an awful lot of ebay problems! Perhaps it's time to give up?!?!?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Hope you get it sorted! I've had a pretty good experience thus far with eBay, although I'll probably run into a problem now I've just said that

I put in a request to cancel transaction, on the basis that the listing was wrong, the "Buy It Now" i wanted as money right there and then, not in a few days.
If you think i should give up, why don't you leave any advice about eBay to people on this forum who are willing to give it, and just not post in the threads that ask for any help? I think you need to re asses why your on the MSE forums if this is your attitude, maybe you should step away for a while?Owed out = lots. :cool:0
