Underfloor heating advice needed

Hi all,
I am planning to change the carpet in my 3 bedrooms (sizes are 10sqm, 9sqm and 6sqm respectively) to laminate floors and noticed that it might be a good idea to put in Underfloor heating as well.
I've checked out a few websites and they offered matt and cable/loose wire systems. Can anyone share their experience about these types of products in terms of price, ease of installation and use, heating speed, performance etc.?
I also noticed that the connection to main power source should be done by a qualified electrician, does anyone know good qualified electricians in Dockland, London area?
Thanks all.

You need to be careful which one you buy, some underfloor heating kits are only suitable for tiles. so first thing is make sure you get one for laminate. As far as im aware fairly easy to lay (plug and play type thing)
I believe their supposed to be quite a bit more efficient than radiators but not seen evidence of this. and with heating speed (again with tiles) it seems to be about 5 mins till you can feel the warmth coming through. depends how powerful they are.
id expect you'd be looking at 1-3k for the rooms you want to do0 -
Underfloor electric heating is not more efficient than any other form of electric heating and, if compared with gas, then any form of electric heating will be much more expensive. Something in the order of 4 to 5 times more expensive for the same amount of kilowatt hours. I cannot comment on the convenience or otherwise, of electric or underfloor heating, however.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

What about oil fueled central heating?
In the bathroom, can we just take our source from the wall radiator to use for under tile heating?0
