Hi can anyone tell me if you have to have a direct debit set up to pay the monthly amount? or can you wait until statement arrives and pay from a debit card? thanks in advance TM

With Egg Money it is essential to have a valid dd.
If you cancel the dd with the bank they will suspend the card and refuse authorisation for transactions, as you are in breach of the terms and conditions.
I would expect Egg Card to be the same.We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
The earth needs us for nothing.

You must keep the direct debit setup on your account with Egg as its in the terms and conditions. However if you wait for your statement and pay it off with a debit card they won't take the direct debit as long as you pay the full balance off. You have to do it so many days before the direct debit goes out (think its 5).0
