Cupboard into wardrobe?!

Hello fellow posters,
I'm really hoping someone can help. We've moved into a new flat that has many cupboards. In my daughters room she has two single single cupboards. I want to change one of the cupboards into a wardrobe. The cupboard has a concrete shelf in it at the bottom. All the Walls are concrete as it's a block of flats. Anyway my question is how can I make it into a wardrobe? I know I need to use something to cover the Walls but unsure whether it should be mdf or plaster board? Whatever it is needs to be easy to cut because I need to make I hole for the fuse. Any help with that would be great.
Thankyou.

I second the use of PB, unless there is very good reason to use something else. In this case it does not sound as if there is.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
You get a carcass made up from MDF that will fit the void I had one made by a mate 2 drawers on soft close runners two door for the main section of the wardrobe and a section on the top where the door lifts upwards and locks into place for extra storage. Lucky I have tall ceilings.
Ignore the rest of the decor as it is a "work in progress"

Just make sure that the cupboard is made from what you think it is...
Sounds silly, but when we moved into our first flat,(local authority),
the cupboards in the bed rooms were lined with asbestos and papered over , bit of a shock when we tried to put a rail mount up and realised.
This was about 15yrs ago, in London.C.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z # 40 spanner supervisor. No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thought.Only after the last tree has been cut down. Only after the last fish has been caught. Only after the last river has been poisoned. Only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten."l! ilyë yantë ranya nar vanwë"0
