    Damn, no Netto near me!:(
Do Tescos do the buy 6 and get 5% off deal too?

thanks for all the info - JD @ £13.99 at Netto is a defo good buy, will get a couple of those!

does anyone know if tesco do the 6 x bottles of spirits & save 5% (like they do on wine & champagne)??

after lots of scouting about it doesn't look like any supermarket is doing 2 for £20 on spirits - seemingly that was a last year christmas deal they aren't repeating - probably lost too much money on it!!

    cheers, claire

The premier stores have £9.99 bottles of bells and a couple others which I can't remember. Can find out next week if you want.

Other than that, just keep your eyes open - all the supermarkets are into cheap booze to drag people in - eg litre of Teachers £10.99 in Sainsbury last weekend. For stuff like white rum and vodka, the "own brands" are more than adequate unless you drink the stuff neat. Also cheack out some of the Netto/Aldi/Lidl threads - most of them have reasonable alternatives to "name brands".

this is a good idea but its not cost effective if you live like 2-3 hours away from dover, portsmouth, plymouth

i've found some good bargains in kwiksave:

Tia Maria 70cl £9.99 (is £10.78 in Tesco)

Sierra Tequila 70cl (clear with the red hat on top of the bottle) £8.99 (is £10.78 in Tesco)

    Malibu 70cl £8.99 (is £9.98 in Tesco)

    Pernod 70cl £11.99 (is £14.64 in Tesco)

Peach Scnapps (not Archers, but cheapy one) £4.99 (is £5.99 for equiv in Tesco)

So thats £7 odd saved and I was in there anway - I used my Tesco Mastercard so will get 1/2 points anyway (always pay it off in full etc once bill arrives)

There were some other good deals in Kwiksave too, especially on bottled beers etc and budget end wines (but were some decent brands) & cheapy style bacardi breezers, etc - so worth a look if you are going by.
