Does Hbos charge you for using Paypal , I have just added by elecron card paid for an item for 3.89 but 6.89 has been reserved in funds ?
If anyone could confirm as i will remove the card and add a different card if so

HBOS do not charge you for any transactions carried out in sterling.
When you add a card to a Paypal account, they will perform a dummy test transaction, to check that the card is valid. This reduces your available balance by a small amount for a few days, but since they never actually take the money, it'll never show up on your statement. I'd suggest that this may be what the extra £3 is.0 -
Thanks , did some further diggin and found that Hbos have been charging 1.50 so ive removed the card and we go back to using my credit card instead0
