    Hey Pusscat,

That sounded great: can't do that kind of multitasking myself so I can't really complain !

I have gone back to the EA telling them that for 192,500 we had a deal, informing them of the potential works (BTW the works are not to be carried the maisonette itself, but to a tower block that is attached to the block of maisonettes through the lease...)

2 Bed flats in my area are currently going for £200 to £210 so I don't think that our £195,000 2 bed maisonette has been extremely overvalued.

hope it all works out for you - if the buyers really want the flat then they may up their offer, if not then it sounds like you can sit tight for a bit longer and see if you get a higher offer?

Work out your bottom line and then be open to anything above that is my advice!

Bit of a bu**er having to pay for work that does not even benefit you - that's the joy of leases I spose :-(
  • Hey everyone !

I thought I would update everyone (who is interested!)
I have just had a call from the agency and the new offer has been accepted :j

I am now starting to really feel the pressure and I think it will be another day where not much work is going to be done !

Well thanks to everyone for your help and suggestions !:T

    Next step, Sollicitor...

    Woohoo
