£50 from £15 aint bad - over 300% interest .... like to see a bank beat that (pity it was £5000 from £1500 though)

  • Do not give up on premium bonds, you do have a chance to win. My brother had £600 in bonds, invested in Jan 1999 and in May 1999 won £100,000.00!!!

  • Wish there was some left to donate!!

New to all this so unsure what to put about my debts. Total debts about £11,500 (or there abouts) Bankruptcy hearing date 19.12.06. The only way i'll ever be free, balance owing to abrclaycard £885, paying munimum monthly of £21, add back on the interest of £8 a month would take me over 9 years, going to court can't come soon enough! :j :j :j :j :j Woo-Hoo!! I know i'll be celeberating this xmas.

  • I have £1500 worth of bonds, most of them bought in 2005, and I have won £200 (2 x £50 and 1 x £100).

I don't mind 'gambling' the interest on my £1500 for the small chance of a large win.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton
