Premier Inn/Travelodge style hotels in France?

We will be driving around 600 miles from Calais to our destination in the Dordogne for our summer holiday. Will probably go on the Channel Tunnel and then want to break the journey overnight around Orleans. I know that there are equivalents to our Premier Inn and Travelodge style hotels but I can't remember what they are called. There are 4 of us (kids are 12 and 14) and I would prefer a family room rather than have to pay for 2 rooms.
Can anyone let me know the names of suitable hotel chains please?

Hi, there are a few to chose from, Accor, Etap Ibis.
We stayed in an Etap which was fine, clean but basic, you can a get family room no problem, we even took our (big) dog in with uswith no raised eye brows.
Check trip advisor for recommendations near Orleans.

there is also Formula 1 and Premier Classe chains in France.0

There is also chain called B & B Hotel http://www.hotel-bb.com/
I stayed in one of them in Dijon on the way down to the alps, we had 4 adults in one room- think it was about 55 euros for a night.0 -
I can second the B&B chain for families - one of the few that sleep 4 rather than 3 to a room & very cheap as well - stayed in one overnight last year in Tours.0

Great, thanks everyone, lots of choice there. With the B & B hotels it shows an option of 2 large and 2 small beds. I have a 12-year-old and a 14-year-old (5ft 7") so would this be suitable or should I be looking at the 4 single bed option?0

My mistake, reading more closely it's single beds they're talking about rather than small.0

have a look at kyriad hotels too
if you plan your route on the via michellin website you can add to see the hotels available en route which is handy
the other thing to remember is that you could use the holiday inn friends and family discount and may find you will get a good value room that way, holiday inn is always a good option especially if you get a deal - we use it when we drive to the alps and usually pay about £60 for a room for 4 of us and that's with 2 double beds (there is a holiday inn in Tours if that is of any use to you)0 -
I stayed in a Campanile once - it was OK. Private Chambre d'hotes are much better in my opinion.0

Updating this rather belatedly. I stayed in the B & B hotel in Chateauroux in the end. It was very easy to find and near several chain-type restaurants Courtepaille, Buffalo Grill etc. It was exactly what I was looking for, a quick and easy stop and very reasonable. Even had free wifi!0
