Kickboard / skirting / pelmet LEDs

Hi
I have seen on TV at a friends house, LED lights in the pelmet (kick boards) in the kitchen.
I would like to replicate the look in the skirting boards of a room in my house.
Anyone know what to search for? I was told they were on screwfix, but can't see them or know what to search for?
Any help with search terms or best sites to buy is greatly received.
Thanks

How about no longer being masochistic?

Are you putting in new skirting boards or trying to install the lights in to the ones already there?
Go to a decent electrical wholesaler for advice on the lights needed.0 -
Search for "PLINTH LIGHT" on ebay or elsewhere and you will get what your looking for, like asked above are you putting new skirting on or will you take the current skirting off and add them? as you will need to make space for transformers etc (maybe underfloor if poss) behind skirting, the lights themself shouldnt use anymore depth than the depth of the skirting so a small hole in the skirting should do them.0

Thanks to both.
Its a newly decorated room, its stripped of woodwork at the moment (has no boards on), just finished the second coat of paint and fancied the idea of these.

What is the room to be used for as these types of lights work in a kitchen or bathroom as mood lighting but can look "chavy" in other rooms you could also add a PIR so when you walk into the room the lights come on automatically.0

Dont ask!
Well ok, its my sons bedroom (age 13).
We made the fatal mistake of letting him pick a reward for some ouststanding exam results. Thats what he picked, I can't talk him out of it!
We are getting these :

They are 30mm in depth skirting boards are about 18mm thick so you may have a problem installing them.
As a parent myself always make sure that any reward is weighted to what you want to supply, I would also ask your son if he likes pink and wants to be a hairdresser when he's oder ;o))))))0 -
Mmmm pimp my room! I'd be telling him that whilst a promise is a promise and if he really wants them (subject to them fitting) then as I promised he can have them, but to think very carefully as I'm not taking them out again in a hurry if anyone takes the p!Adventure before Dementia!0

The sim line ones on that site would be better would not need a void behind the skirting. Put the junction box under the floor boards.0

How about these? They are a bit more blendable IYSWIM?Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0

Love the comment about chavy!
For a more subtle lighting effect use the thin led strips with adhesive backing and fix them to the underside of the floor cabinet in front of the plinth.
For warm floor colours: red, cream brown etc use warm white LEDs
For cooler colour flours: grey, black, white etc use cool white LEDs0
