You can also use wallpaper or pretty wrapping paper.

Dunelm have a good supply of beaded trims.

You can by fire retarding spray for fabrics, although I'm not sure where you'd get it from.
  • Went to a local warehouse-type place and got spray glue and even got some plain calico fabric today at charity shop for £1.99p. Also found some cheap fabric paint, although I didn't get any. Having just recently moved house, I think I need to get the dining room table accessible first so I can give myself a fighting chance of being acurate when cutting etc.

There are a couple of really good local fabric shops that stock ribbon, buttons etc, so I am going to try to get supplies together rather than just jumping in with both feet and cobbling something together. If I am going to do this, I would like to have a design in mind for each one before I get started.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

  • I suspect it'll be a few weeks at least til I get round to doing this; too many other things clamouring for priority just now, but will certainly post a piccie when I complete one. Even if it is awful!.

    p.s. Thank you zippychick.
