I wonder if anyone can tell me please, if I buy this as a gift for someone can they get the £30 airtime and is it easy for them to do so?

Chicobubba - NO problem as when they receive the phone they will have to load it with £5 of airtime, the £30 is then credited over 3 months from Virgin, beginning the month after registering the phone. All info comes with the phone.

Thanks for this. I received one for my 9 year old daughter this morning and it's a great little phone. I would recommend it for anyone who just wants a basic phone. Have registered online with Virgin and topped up with £5, all very easy!

Hi, just ordered a 1112 locked to Virgin, please could anyone tell me what Virgin charge to unlock? Also do you know if market traders can unlock these phones with their PC'S? many thanks

Once u have spent £30 with virgin u can ask for an unlock code for free
