Nationwide Credit Card - Missing March Statement

I recieved my monthly Nationwide credit card statement in April and was horrified to find that I had been given a late payment charge of £12.00 plus interest etc. I hunted high a low for my March statement which I could not find anywhere (strange as I have every one dating back two years at least!). I rang Nationwide and apologised as I always pay off my bill in full every month and they refunded the late payment fee. I was the discussing this with my Mum who also has a Nationwide credit card which she also always pays in full each month and found that she also had not received a March statement and then had a £12 late payment fee in April along with interest charges etc. I rang Nationwide as thought this was rather strange and the refunded my Mum's charges.
Has anyone else had this problem and id anyone else finding the statements difficult to understand?

I haven't had any problem. My Nationwide credit card statement for March turned up as punctually as usual.

An easy way to avoid late payment fees is to set up a direct debit for the minimum payment each month. If you prefer to pay more, just pay the extra.

Their statements are quite easy to understand. They are certainly no more difficult than any other credit card.
