I think the project had come to an end like most are now.

No wonder I was confused, Kantar, who own TNS, contacted me directly to ask if I would mind them installing a modem & and another bit of kit, for 500 points a month

One bit monitors my TV viewing, and the other my web viewing

Both transmit back to Kantar, I assume via the modem they installed

I guess I fitted some sort of profile, no idea what they will get out of it, I never watch adverts for a start, just whizz through them, never click on web ads, have pop up blockers etc

But 500 monthly points is fine by me

  • Hi

I'm fairly new to shop & scan

I had an email earlier confirming my points for uploading a receipt, however I have not had one for transmitting barcodes *definitely done more than once*

Do they usually come separately? Do I need to question it with them yet or will it catch up?

    Thanks in advance xx

Yes you will receive a separate email. I sometimes receive the email regarding the points for barcodes later in the evening on Mondays but more usually sometime Tuesday morning.

How often do they update the rewards they offer would be great if they could add love2shop vouchers or supermarket ones

I have been doing this for a few years, and can't remember the rewards ever being updated.
I agree supermarket or love2shop vouchers would be good.

I am new to this. just joined shop and scan. this is how i think it works but just want to clarify

each week i need to scan all products that i buy individually using the clicker. i get some points in return. having trouble logging in to their account so :

    1) Do i upload the receipt? if so how?
    2) is it fixed points per upload or it it per week? so if i do two shopping per week does it make a difference if i upload two lots of shopping or one?
    3) how much are points worth?
    4) Is there a minimum payout level?

You need to take a picture and upload it online from your PC.

Fixed points - 1100 for your barcodes and an additional 500 from receipts. I got in trouble with them for only uploading one receipt a week but I guess if you just do one big shop then that would be ok.

Minimum payout - I'm not sure, I always just get Amazon vouchers which are 10,000 points for £10. Not sure what the other reward levels are.
