I'm over the limit for income tax on my normal job anyway - however as I understand it that makes no difference, whether you reach the limit for tax or not you still have to declare you income to IR. So even if my only earnings were from surveys I'd still have to declare it - there would just be no tax due to pay.
I have applied for small earnings on this income though so that I don't have to pay the extra NI contributions that you'd normally pay as self-employed.

Think I'll just have to ask IR again unless anyone else here has experience of how they declare these earnings??

Just trying to make sure everything is straight now as don't want to get stuck with fines for doing it wrong now and not declaring things right! Scares me some of the stories you hear! :eek:

Sorry just another quick question im going away this weekend but will transmit my shopping for this week on Friday before I go, it dosen't have to be done on a Sunday does it ?

It can be done at any time, as long as it's done before midnight on Sunday.

Hi,
Just joined up with ShopandScan. One thing I seem to get is after I transmit the barcodes I get a message saying I have uploaded x amount of barcodes but them get an red error screen saying it could not reset the clicker. I phoned their hotline and was told to scan a couple of barcodes (didn't matter which) and try again.This worked and I got the screen saying the clicker was reset. But since them I have had to do this everytime. Do others get this issue? Guess as long as the points get added not too big an issue but a puzzle.

Never had that before sounds like the clicker isn't emptying the barcodes properly, have had problems with my clicker before though and have had to faff around with that quite a lot but it all seems to be going smoothly at the moment

I've never had this problem. but if you point it it a blank wall, press the button until the red light goes out... think this right then it should clear the memory completely.

Do you have to save up all you shopping to submit it together or do you do it as and when?
Also, is it all shopping or just groceries?
