Hiya Guys,

I am on the long road of improving my credit score. I started with a Vanquis credit card 12 month ago, always paid the full amount on time. I was then accepted on a Cap 1 card and done the same.

I don't think I am ready to move onto a high street lender so would be interested to hear any suggestions of credit cards inbetween these adverse credit lenders and high street lenders

Tried whoever you hold your main current account with? They're generally going to be your best bet...

Depending on how long you've had the capital one card and been paying it. You could try Barclaycard Initial, it'll be a bit lower apr than you have (which doesn't really matter since you're paying it off in full anyway)

Do a soft search on their website and see what the likely hood is of being approved (not sure how accurate it is but it's better than nothing - probably!)

Well done on the road to repair, I travelled the same journey and it's worth it. Good luck

Try Capital One Progress if you have the Classic already. Or the Barclaycard Initial.
