It goes on household income. If your income is lower, you get an element per child, tapered according to income, plus the family element of £545 a year. Once all the child elements have been tapered away due to income, all you are left with (if at all) is the family element. First child, partner works 40 hrs ish I usually work 37.5 but will be going down to 18 when I go bk to work next year?
Ive been off sick in hospital since Nov & mat pay started 1st April...
