Hi everyone
I've not used this part of the MSE forum before, but I'd like some advice on behalf of a friend, if anyone can help.
The family comprises a husband and wife, one child around 18 or 19, child 2 is 13 or 14 and child 3 is 9 or 10 (friends of DH, so not sure of ages!). He works 40 hours a week, she works part time, prob not more than 2 days a week. None of them is disabled, and they currently receive about £40 a week TC, plus CHB for the younger two, and they own their house, or at least have a mortgage. They want to know if they're entitled to any other help, e.g. health costs, etc. I suspect not as he earns a half decent wage and I thought you had to receive a lot of TC to get health costs etc.
Hope anyone can give me some information for them - even if it's not what they're looking for!
Many thanks in advance.

They could put their details into the benefits calculators below to see if they're entitled to anything else but it doesn't sound like they'd be entitled to anything more. If the 18/19yr old is in full time education then they could be still getting CB for them.
