Virgin Phone & Sky TV

Hi, it sounds a silly question but can you have Virgin phone service and Sky TV as I know that Sky must be connected to a phone line. I currently I have BT phone and Sky TV and Virgin broadband and I am looking to get a saving by combining the phone and braodband backage with Virgin but leaving the satelite with Sky. Thanks

Yes you can have Sky TV with a cable phoneline.The Sky boxes only have to be connected to the phone;
1-If it's Multiroom
2-For the duration of the initial 12 month contract unless you take the phone free install which costs £25 (one off charge)
The Sky Dish Monkey will run an extension from your Cable phone point to the TV,If he say's '"Sorry,it's not my job" he's telling porkies as it IS his job,especially if it's Multiroom.If both boxes aren't connected to the phoneline,then Sky will cancel the £10 multiroom sub & charge you full price sub for the second (multiroom) box.
