I've been Money Tipped!
Hi all,

I was wondering if someone could help.

We bought the Megane (as previously posted) last month. Wonderful car Quiet, Good on fuel etc.

After we took it out of the show room i took the car to get it taxed at the post office. Came back to the car and went to fuel up fine no problem. (Petrol station and post office 5 min walk from showroom) so i went to open the windows as it was a warm day i decided to open the window's.

Opened the drivers window fine, back windows fine, passengers window would not work. Took car back less than 15 minutes after driving it out of the courtyard and was greeted quite rudely (Took it on the chin) the sales assistant said Yes the car window was faulty before you bought it (Admitting Liability) and looked at me and said "Oh well s**t happens" here is our number for our after sales manager so he wrote it down.

Called the manager who amazingly answered as "Workshop" discussed the problem with him, passed the buck now to this guy in "Workshop". Been told so many times that he has ordered parts from the Local Dealer but not turned up on time (3 Weeks now.)

My DW and i discussed what we could do. The Workshop will not take the car back and its nearly passed the 31 days Warrantee. I only have one option left do i call DFT and trading standards as the car "Passed" an MOT 2 DAYS BEFORE WE HAD IT. Also we have discovered that the passenger seat does not go back and forth.

Someone please Heeeeeeeeeeeeelp

Correct, and neither does the passenger seat have to move.

The sliders on the passenger seat is probably just a bit gunged up.

You've been very patient regarding the window; but I'm puzzled about how he knew what to order without seeing the car. Makes me wonder whether anything really is on order!
