How does the unlocking mularky work ?
I've downloaded the software mentioned and put in the correct parameters I think (see below) but it keeps giving a "code error" message.
NokiaFreeUnlock parameters
Nokia
2650 (tried DCT4 as it was default but that didn't help)
IMEI (entered off phone)
UK
Orange
I believe if you get it wrong 4 times you have to unlock by cable so I'd rather get the next one correct. I bought one of these these for number one daugther last time round and managed to unlock it using this software but can't remember how !

I have put in an order today. No idea if they will have any stock left now, but they accepted my order. We shall see what happens...:beer:0

these are ASIC2 phones
change box serial (or GEN as it sometimes called) to ASIC 6 (32821)

the Nokia 2652 CAN be unlocked for free
the Nokia 1112 CANNOT be unlocked for free , only by Virgin , after a minimum top-up of £30Ex forum ambassador
