Gone for this, twice. They are presents for the parents as they would not want anything with bells or whistles, and these are supposedly easy to use. So bargain. As long as they get here in time. Cheers OP!
  • I'd advise anyone getting these as presents to unlock and try them out withyour sim card - I bought one and the sound quality was awful, the guy in the shop agreed it was faulty and gave me a new replacement but this was the same...
  • I tried ordering 20 but Phones4u claimed that its 3 phones per person per month - doh
  • its a pretty good phone for light users. i dont think you will find ANYWHERE else a phone with a colour screen for 15 quid (use quidco to make it this price).

I'm very pleased with my purchase, well packaged in a nice gold coloured box for gift purposes ;)

Dont forget to go through Quidco for £5 cashback.

I bought one of these Nokia 1112's from the PAYG specials area of Phones 4U and did Quidco - there are quite a few posts on the mobiles board about them. Got an email the next day, but then no phone. Anyway, phoned them and apparently because the address on my credit card differed by one letter they had put a hold on it. I told them it was right and they released it, arrived the next day BUT quidco denied me all but £1.74 of the fiver.

After saying that I am not complaining. You cannot knock a £20 phone that has £30 of airtime on it. It also has 3p texts and mins to all other virgin phones so is great (like me) you got two of the telewest virgin oyster phones (for my kids) and want to keep in touch for next to nothing as a family. (I had also considerd the vodafone family thing but my kids phones are locked to virgin)

Phone itself is probably clunky for some people's tastes but this simply has to be the easiest phone ever to use. I have got a works phone for normal use, and I am not bothered about a coloured screen for my spare. I also like the alarm clock on it (talks rather than bleeps - says "it is time to get up" - seems gentler on the ear) Also, it has the best battery life I have ever had off a phone. For those who want a basic simple spare, you can't go wrong.
  • sorry for going off topic, I bought a 1112 on the offer mentioned above from phones4u, hows the £30 credit work? when does it appear?

I believe it is £10 each month for the first three months, but you have to activate the sim card by making a chargeable call first, which means you have to put the minimum top credit of £5 on it first.
  • Nokia 2652 is sent by royal mail special delivery if your credit card details are all ok - so you could have the phone in less than 24 hours like I did!

i just saw my quidco transaction has changed from tracked to validated!

Got mine today by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Only ordered it yesterday so brilliant service!!

I've managed to unlock it & it now works on O2. First time I've tried unlocking a mobile so I'm impressed!

My 78 year old Mum will now have a "flippy" phone like mine for Christmas instead of her old "brick". I don't think she could have coped with a camera etc but this is really simple to use.

Went through Quidco so brilliant deal for £14.95!!

    Thanks to OP
