Help!! Tj hughes faulty tv

Hello! I bought a tv from TJ Hughes in Aug last year, we now have all sound no picture. Took it back with a bank staqtement (bought it with my visa), but didnt keep the stand as it was mounted on a bracket. As there is no stand they will not refund/replace......what are my rights?

Thanks :-)

    Tell them to repair then.

If they can't repair then the TV is scrap, so replacing won't be a problem as the stand will not be an issue.

Although, with that fault, are you sure a scart lead hadnt worked loose?

Would they have replaced it if it had the stand? If so, tell them to keep the stand from the replacement. Problem solved.

Do they have any in stock to replace'it with? They tend to have limited stocks on items like this so thats probably why they can't, as for not refunding I don't blame them if you can't actually return the product you purchased and only a portion of it.

Could you go direct to whoever made the TV for a repair?
    Squirrel!
If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
