Laptop overheating and dying

    It's Ubuntu 11.04 but I have Edubuntu on top too which is a bit older. I downloaded it through the software centre but it seems it needs updating so I'll update today. The BIOS was due an upgrade as it had sat in my cupboard for 2 years after it died spectacularly. With this the fan is now working.

    This Acer has been a right royal pain but hopefully it will do my daughter ok else a moneysaving laptop present is turning into a very expensive present. I won't buy a budget laptop again.
    I'm sure I went upstairs for some reason.
