Bosch washing machine problem - brushes?

Got a Bosch WAS32466GB washing machine. It's 3 years old.
I've had the feeling it's been a shade noisier lately, not a lot just enough to make me think it wasn't exactly 'right'.
Yesterday it stopped working completely and flashed up error code F43. A quick google tells me this could be motor related.
I found instructions on how to reset the machine, which I did and it started filling and draining again, it just wont turn.
Is this likely to be the carbon brushes? And if so are they something I could replace myself? I'll have a go at most things but I'm a tad worried about having washing machine parts all over my kitchen floor and not having a clue how to put it all back together again.

Sounds like the brushes.
It is a relatively simple job - IF you understand what the brushes are and how they are fitted. You don't have to dismantle anything to get to them.0 -
Thanks. I ordered some from espares and they have a tutorial video showing you the basics so I'll give it a go. How hard can it be? :rotfl: < Slightly worried laugh.
