WTC salary threshold?

Does any one know what the WTC annual salary threshold is for a single person over 25 working 30 hours a week?
I keep being given different figures from the tax credit people! Helpful? Not! :mad:

Have you filled out the entitlement questionnaire on direct.gov.uk?
It may give you a better idea. Or the benefits calculators on turn2us.org.uk.

I don't know much about tax credits but there are entitlement tables here: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTaxAndBenefits/TaxCredits/peoplewhohelpothers/Entitlementtablesfortaxcredits/DG_174877
which suggests that if you're single with no children or disability you can get some tax credits until you're earning over £13,000 a year.

Agree - the "threshold" is just over £13,000 (but wtc is a tapered benefit) so at £13,000 pa you would receive a very tiny amount of wtc - since basically they will make your salary up to about £13,000
