Have a 16GB SanDisk Cruzer memory stick which used to work perfectly. It has U3 software and my data is password protected. I use it once every month or two to back up my data.

The only thing i can think of that may have started the problem is when i used a hp flashdrive v165w. Each memory stick tend to install their own software.

Before when i insert the scandisk, a program is launched. I type in my password and the folder is accessible. Now when i insert the stick, the light flashes slowly. Two drives appear in the computer folder.

U3 system (G:)
Removable Disk (H:)

When i click on U3 system (G) it opens a folder listing 3 files. One of which is LaunchU3.exe When i click on this it opens another folder.

When i click on Removable Disk (H) it says 'please insert a disk into drive H'

Any advice?
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D
