Be aware, just because they have a shiny office and drive a nice big car there are a lot of LAs out there that do not know anything about housing laws/contract law/anything at all. Anyone can become a LA.Inside this body lays one of a skinny woman
but I can usually shut her up with chocolate!
When I thank a post in a thread I've not posted in,
it means that I agree with that post and have nothing further to add.

My dad, two of my close friends, and at least 8 people I work with on a daily basis all have companies registered at their home addresses. None of them actual runs a business from home. Having a company registered there is not a problem in any way, and doesn't mean they're using the property for anything other than as a residence. Having a few items of mail relating to work delivered to a house is an integral part of using it as your residence, in my opinion. The problem will be if you find that the house has been turned into a salon/massage parlour/whatever. For advice on this, see sequence's post upthread.0

I'm sure you are right Brb, This is a fairy long established local estate agent - still the same applies to an extent with anything out of the ordinary I'm sure.0
