Morning guys, yesterday was really good although the committal was a struggle, OH picked the music and the words were lovely and so they set everyone off. OH finally had a slight teary moment yesterday so I am glad some emotion is coming out gradually. Once again I spent the rest of the day laughing with the rest of the family and then towards the end of the evening we reminisced (sp?). I am marrying into such a wonderful family, some who over the last few weeks have also become amazing friends. Neither of us slept very well last night but I have left OH sleeping now as he definately needs it. We are off to see the family that are still up here this afternoon and I have asked if he wants to go via where his mum's memories are on the way for a bit of comfort, will see what he thinks this morning.
Glad a had a whizz around the rest of the house on Wednesday as loads has been crossed off the list, just some extras on there. Think OHs aunt and uncle are stopping by and the house is nice and tidy

AJ It sounds like you are going into a lovely family, that can smile & laugh and look at the positives in life (and death) It is good that OH is letting some emotion show - why do men find this so difficult??!
Pigpen ((big hugs)) I hope your weekend works out for you
Vanilla ((big hugs)) for you aswell.
Good morning peeps
I don't think I will be doing much flying to day, as Fridays are a busy day. DH is away all weekend, so I will potter about then. DD has a friend staying tonight, so they can revise (;):rotfl:) so I have told her that they can walk the dog when they get in, as I won't have been able to do it. DS wants to buy more fish for the new tank, & DH has left some money (take away tonight then!
)
If I am lucky, I may get some washing done!0 -

DW been loaded and switched on, our bed has been stripped and bedding in wm. All animals fed and watered.

I've rung hubby to see if the doctor has arrived yet, he's not there yet. Now hubby is away with the OT to cook a fry, he seems in good form and i think he's got used to being in the hospital. That may cause a few problems when he comes home to the mad house.
Right cuppa and then i'll get the kitchen sorted...
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

AJ, glad it went as well as could be expected yesterday. His family sound so lovely.
Vanilla, it's good that DH is settling into the hospital; hopefully they can help him until he's well enough to come back with you and the kids.
Anyone fancy a HHC 9.45 - 10.15? Feel free to tag on as I won't come back to the computer before I start as I always get distracted

Thanks for replies, sorry can't remember names
DD & boyfriend need a big kick up their backsides, so this will be done over the weekend!
DS has had type 1 diabetes for 11 years (he is now 14), for the last few years he has not coped well with it at all well.
Comments made at school by other kids doesn't help, combined with lots of time off for feeling ill, has all amounted to him not wanting to be there. He starts his GCSE's in Sept so really want to try and crack this phobia before the summer hols.
Today's list:
[STRIKE]Email DS school about Monday[/STRIKE]
Apply for 2 teaching assistant jobs on line
Hang out washing (gone a bit dull though)
Empty DW and re-fill
Makes some fairy cakes
Hoover upstairs
Clean bathroom & en-suite (en-suite is a huge frog more like a toad!)
Put weed killer on front garden gravel, it looks awful!
Will be happy to get that lot done, I am waiting in for my new ariel to be fitted and set top box delivered :T
Have a fab day everyone, happy flying.
