Nobody can answer that question without knowing your area and your annual consumption / payments.
Go to one of the comparison websites with this information and do a comparison. I'm just switching to npower Go Fix 5 but it may not be best for your circumstances.0 -

Have NPower pulled the Go Fix 5 tariff?

I too was thinking about this but I'm fixed with EON till 1st July so I was hoping it would be there for a few more weeks !!:(0 -

I find myself in the same position with my E-On contract also ending July 1st.
Just wondering;
1) If all of the current deals are disappearing so quickly.
2) Given the transfer time of 4-6 weeks.
Is now a good time start the transfer process.0 -
If you're fixed, you'll probably incur a switching penalty if you transfer before the end of the period. You'd need to calculate how much you'd lose compared to what you'd gain on the new tariff.0

In addition to the £30 cancellation charge I would also lose my discount of 28.2% and with a bill due 14th July the hit would be considerable.
So to leave without penalty I must wait until the 1st July, request a bill and only then commence the transfer process.
Still undecided about long-term fixing but it looks as if I now have time to consider that.0 -

You are able to request a bill at ANYTIME - either go online, enter your meter readings, then tick where it says do you want new bill?
OR call 0115 843 4147, option 5, automated service. Give your meter readings - this AUTOMATICALLY creates a new bill - which you can see online the next day.
So you can basically request a bill say 7-10 days before your switch date - and get the full discount. Then your FINAL BILL will only be for 7-10 days, with no discount - which will be little useage so no big loss.0 -
