when to expect payment

hi wonder if anyone can help me,

hubby was made redundant last week (wednesday 4th may) and was told to sign on friday past (6th may), when he went he was told no its a mistake and he has to sign on 13th may. his adviser wasn't any help and just wondering when he can expect his payment and how much will he be likely to get as trying to work out a budget for the next few weeks.

    Assuming he is claiming Contributions based, the weekly rate is £67.50, assuming his claim has been processed and there is no backlog, you would usually get paid 3 days after signing on.

    thank you, yes its contribution based they did say he would probably get a top up (not sure what of) as i am a sahm but if i base my budget on teh £67.50 then any extra is a bonus
