I got wed in March in Maurituis and I just used a normal hand lugagge suitcase to pack my dress in. I felt better that i knew my dress was definately going to be there. Then it just needs a quick press when you get over there for creases! I've heard you can try hanging in the bathroom and the steam will make the creases drop out too. HTH

I meant to reply to this. Im so useless.

So yes I asked them when I booked and they said that you have two options:

    1. Put it in a separate case as you are given an extra 5kg for a wedding dress. Mark the case as "FRAGILE" and it will go in the hold.

    2. Take it on as your hand luggage, but it will be your one and only piece of hand luggage. If you are lucky, and ask nicely, the crew might allow it to be hung up in a cupboard/wardrobey thing in the captains cabin.

So I personally think I will be putting it in a box/case and taking it as hand luggage! Knowing my luck it would go missing between here and Cuba!! Agh!
