oh the joys tax credits

i am not sure as i cant remeber i know after 9 weeks in 06 we were no longer entitled to either tax credits (took awhile to sort out) but then in 08 we had our daughter we were eligable again.
p.s how would we know if a award was closed etc as i cant remeber

umm we have always lived together well since way before the tax credit claim was made. not sure what that has to dow ith whything thou.
how would i know if a award in 06 was closed? we got a renewl notice in 07 saying we were entitled to nothing in 07-08 and i cant remeber if in 08 we opened a new one for our daughter0
