In Berkshire we had enough for the butt connected to just a shed roof to fill to the top..... and since I had every little container put that I could, I have, after emptying them all out another half a butt-ful :-)0

Enough rain over the weekend in Swindon to fill both waterbutts, would have filled about 5 if I had them! Also torrential downpour flooded the patio and drive to a depth of 2 inches last night. Not good.Mortgage Start (08/10) : £96,685

we had rain overnight in Bedfordshire but sadly it has stopped now... hope the little seedlings that I planted yesterday enjoyed it while it lasted.
Dunno where abouts in Bedfordshire you are, but here in South Beds, we have our own microclimate.
Whilst it rained fairly heavily overnight last night, it spat a little yesterday morning and thought about it today too - we could even see the grey clouds go past us.
By 8pm, the lotty was almost dry.The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.

I agree newsgroup.. i am in south beds too near the downs which where i am is in a slight dip.. We had a heavy showers during the night .. looked like rain today grey skies but nothing .. fairly blustery again tonight0
