In Berkshire we had enough for the butt connected to just a shed roof to fill to the top..... and since I had every little container put that I could, I have, after emptying them all out another half a butt-ful :-)

Enough rain over the weekend in Swindon to fill both waterbutts, would have filled about 5 if I had them! Also torrential downpour flooded the patio and drive to a depth of 2 inches last night. Not good.

we had rain overnight in Bedfordshire but sadly it has stopped now... hope the little seedlings that I planted yesterday enjoyed it while it lasted.

Dunno where abouts in Bedfordshire you are, but here in South Beds, we have our own microclimate.

Whilst it rained fairly heavily overnight last night, it spat a little yesterday morning and thought about it today too - we could even see the grey clouds go past us.

By 8pm, the lotty was almost dry.

I'm also in South Beds... glorious sunshine today and agree, despite the threatening clouds last night... no rain :(

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.
