Hi need some advice i just renewed my tax credits my son is on middle rate care dla i told them this got a provisional award through yest they have given him the disability element n also severe disability element which i no hes not entilted to because hes on middle rate not high rate this is right isnt it? thank you

I think you are right and he shouldn't be getting the severe disability premiumWho can get the extra money?
You can get extra Child Tax Credit if any one of the following applies:- Disability Living Allowance is paid for your child
- your child is registered blind
- your child came off the blind register in the 28 weeks before you claimed tax credits
You need to check that they've got the right details for you.0 -

i rang this morning to tell them im not entitled to it and they didnt no how it happened but theyve changed it now thank goodness dont want to much over payment0
